In my never ending quest for online riches, it's time I venture into FOREX. With more than $3 trillion exchanges daily - who else don't want a piece of the pie? I then started to study a lil bit of how to trade FOREX online.

After a few hours of research and study, I opened a demo account to get my feet wet before investing real money in it. I've read that a lot of inexperienced newbies got slaughtered in the FOREX market so I better be careful.

Anyone who has wanted to make extra income online would probably have heard or come across the infamous Lawn Chair Millionaire program. This program not only promises that you will earn your very first check or payment the moment you join; you also earn residue income which may really make you quit your day job if you follow some simple steps.

Today I will share my experience with you all after my involvement with the Lawn Chair Millionaire program for 5 days. Let's start from the very beginning as I explain how the program works and whether it will really make you any money.

The first thing you will see when you enter the site is an opt-in page. The page looks something like the one below. Note that you will likely see different opt-in pages as they rotate between different designs. However they serve the same purpose, which is to show you the money pool - if you notice the bottom part of the page.



Also notice the countdown timer which is 3 hours. If you submit your name and email, you will be placed in a temporary slot where you are eligible for the money pool. What the money pool does is that it will be broken into 3 parts that will be paid to you across 3 months. However you need to understand that the total pool for that particular day is calculated based on how many people are joining the Lawn Chair Millionaire program on that very day. The more people join, the larger the pool is. And the total money pool will be split evenly to all members who "joined".

Remember I said temporary position earlier? Yup.. You can't get your hands on the money yet. Because you are currently locked in a temp position. To be eligible to collect the money, you need to become a paid member. There is a one time account setup fee payment and a recurring membership fee every month.

A lot of people never bothered to become a paid member because it sounds like a scam. Well, 3 months ago I thought it was a scam too but I regretted only after discovering how the top member is now making consistently $54,930 residue income every month! That does not include other bonuses that she's (yeah its a lady) earning that's around 10k monthly. And the number is increasing every single month without fail.

The reason why people think its a scam is because the interface looks too simple. And it does not mention clearly what product you will get in return. Also the monthly fee charges is a turn-off. 3 months ago I read a couple of reviews about this program and people everywhere are negative about it. 3 months later I joined under the top member to see whether this program can be trusted.

So I've paid the one-time setup fee and my membership fee. Let's take a tour inside the member's area. On the left side of the page is the money pool which will be paid to you across 3 months. Telling a friend simply lets you send out invitation to your friends to join the program. On the right side of the page, you can see top members. Just times the number with $15 and you get roughly how much they are making every month.



The Basics tab will provide you with the necessary training and information to get you started with the program.


The Vault tab is where some of the more powerful tools are located where you will be able to make more money online. I recently purchased a SmartCash System in the vault where you can easily exploit one of the loopholes in football betting games in major online betting programs! Of course this is only meant for people living outside US.




The Business tab is where you can find and use some of the readily available services to promote your website. Website you say? Well, you will be given a website upon signing up and that particular website is the only thing that you need to promote.




The Admin tab allows you to track your commission, view your prospects, members, payments and other stuff.




Let's take a glimpse of how much money I had made in 5 days.



Not too bad for a beginner eh? I've implemented some of the secret ingredients from Rachel (the top member) and already seeing results in 5 days. Rachel personally recruit hundreds of members every month. I will try to utilize all her methods and see how much I can achieve in one month.

If you guys still remember my previous post regarding Google Wealth Maker and wondering whether it is worth your 77USD/mo. After trying the program for a full week; here is my conclusion - The program does not work as promised. I have seen 0 results. You read me right - "zero". Here are the reasons:

The Google Wealth Maker is using Black Hat strategy to exploit the loopholes of Twitter to send mass message to followers of your Twitter account. In case those of you who do not know how it works. You set up a twitter account about a particular keyword which is relevant to the product which you want to promote. It can be an affiliate website or your own website. The GWM will search and try to follow/ add users to your twitter account based on the relevant keywords in their names.

Next, through the GWM interface, you set up a Google news feed. You input the relevant keywords which GWM will find in the content of the latest Google news. Then what it will do next is send the snippet news feed to all your twitter followers with your URL at the end. This sounds like a superb idea but there is one major flaw - Since GWM is driven by algorithms/ keywords; it cannot differentiate between relevant news and something which is of complete different topic. As long as the keyword you entered is somewhere inside the content, GWM will think that the news is relevant. In reality, you may be sending junk to your followers.

What happens, is your twitter follower is updated with a news like this:- "hacker stole a fortune from online... http://tinyurl.xxxxx". When the user wanted to read more about the news, instead of reading the complete news, he was directed to a completely non-related website. Worse is when he was presented with a website with long sales letter asking him to buy something. Okay, my example may not sound right but I believe you get the idea. I guess after receiving 100+ junk messages from the GWM, the followers will eventually block you.

All my Twitter accounts are suspended today when I tried to log in and check on the progress. Then I went and read the possible reasons why I was suspended and this is what I found out.


Almost every taboos are what GWM is doing! Holy crap! We all know that Black Hat won't last you long. Don't ever spend a dime on it!

The program is not completely bad. You get to learn some refreshing marketing strategies and methods. You will be able to download a valuable report on making money and increasing your page rank using web2.0 social networking sites. However, to pay 77 bucks every month for something which does not completely deliver, I'll pass. For those who claims to be successful with the program, I don't know how you did it or maybe because you just wanted a piece of the affiliate commission by providing fake information. The truth is, everyone's a sucker before trying the program for themselves. I have requested for my refund already. Let's see how long it will take for them to process.

Recently there has been a new product launched by Eric Rockfeller called Google Wealth Maker. I've done a bit of research on the internet as to find out reviews on this product. As you already know, you can never find any honest reviews nowadays because they are all saying how good the product really was and suggest that you to buy the product via their affiliate links.

What the Google Wealth Maker claims was that everything is automated and you get supposedly *free* clicks from Google, increase your Page Rank, get instant traffic to your affiliate pages in just 2 - 4 hours, etc. Sounds too good to be true. And with all those beta-tester testimonials, I can't hold but to give it a try at 77USD per month.

My first impression after using for the first time. The Cons:

- I don't think any child who knows how to read can do it as claimed by Eric Rockfeller.

- There's only ONE training video to get you started with the basics. You are left in the dark for how the rest goes. Eic claims that there will be more videos up but so far there's only ONE.

- Instructions are poor! You need to have adequate knowledge of affiliate marketing, web 2.0 stuff, RSS, etc if you can understand what the whole thing is all about. And again, this is not meant for some average "child" as claimed.

- I don't see any results at all in 24 hours after implementing what was instructed. I don't get any traffic nor do I get any so-called free clicks.

- The software is not perfect. It does not always do what they claimed it to do.

- You need to pay for another 67USD to get access to more advanced training videos.

- The FAQ section is so confusing. They are not entirely related to the program.

On the bright side:

- Since this is the first time I'm using their web tool (software), perhaps I still need to play around with it more to find out the potential.

- I'm still waiting for the additional training videos which "might" provide more insight of the program.

- Nothing more at this point.

Conclusion:

The Google Wealth Maker is using Twitter as a means of generating traffic. I do not think they spent 23k USD and 4 months developing a web tool which grab relevant news feed with targeted keywords from Google and auto post in your Twitter account. If I'm paying 77USD monthly, I do expect the program to deliver at least 77% of what it claimed to do. Otherwise, I'll ask for my refund. I hope to be able to write a better review of this program in the future if it works for me. For now, I do not think it is worth your money.

I know I have not been posting in DannyTechy for quite a long time already. I've been working on my other project - which the title suggests. I'm building an article directory from scratch with all PLR the articles I've obtained from Article Underground and different sources. It would take me 1 solid year or even more to post all the articles. New articles are still coming in every now and then so I have no idea when this is going to end.

There are a number of benefits from building your own article directory. You are actually building yourself an automated money generating machine with Google Adsense. If you have considerable amount of members, they help grow your site instead of you. When you are just starting, the site may have extremely low traffic and unpopular. People may not want to publish their articles on your site. However, when your site gets larger; it's a completely different story.

It has been almost one month since my case study started. My aim is to create a new website from scratch to make money online. I had made a couple of unforeseen changes two weeks after the project that impacted slightly on the outcome. I moved to a paid hosting for better SEO so that wasted me 2 weeks of work. Also I spent 2 days tweaking the new site to make it presentable. Another week spent moving and uploading the contents. And finally, I implement Google Adsense to the site after my site has enough contents. I also followed the steps in Article Underground to massively link to my site from their many PR4 sites.

The result was not what I was hoping for. My overall Adsense income is a big disappointment as shown in the screen shot below. Did the strategy not working out as planned? I had some of the most expensive keywords around..




However, something surprised me today when I checked my Adsense report for yesterday. The traffic started to come in and I get $13+ with just 10 clicks! That's not too shabby for a 3 weeks old site.



I'll keep my fingers crossed for now. Hopefully I get more traffic coming and higher conversion rates for the next 1 month. At this point, I am completely ignoring that site and letting it run on its own. I have a bigger fish to fry and it will be one of my remaining secret weapons.

I guess I have not updated for quite some time now. It's time for another round of case study update! My aim is to create a money making blog from scratch and see whether it can really make enough money to cover one's daily expenses. Or to simply make a living off from the internet for an average Joe.

There has been some major decision changes over the past one week. I've decided to scrap the whole idea about putting everything in a free blogspot account to a paid hosting plan. I signed up with a very reliable web hosting company with unlimited bandwidth, space and domain for a mere $71 annually. It's a very small investment in order to achieve a more significant result.

Right after I obtained my domain and site I quickly posted something on the first page. Following the instructions on Article Underground, I announced my site in 3 of their 33 announcement blogs and my website was immediately indexed by Google within 4 hours! I've never experience indexing so fast before. Normally it takes at least a week for a very good SEO-optimized website to be indexed. My DannyTechy blog took close to 6 months to be indexed by search engines.

Soon after that I activated WordPress on my account and implemented a SEO-optimized theme on it. During the past week I have been tweaking and importing posts from my previous blog. I started to insert affiliate banners I signed up with Commission Junction. At this point I'm still tweaking my site and wait for my total post to hit 50 before I start sending in free paid Google traffic I got from signing up with the web hosting company. It is time for another round of update for my case study: Make money from blog. I have been constantly adding in new articles and pages to my new blog. I now have over 21 new postings in the blog itself. It won't be long before it hit 50 then I will start implementing Google Adsense. I estimate another week before I hit the 50 post target.

I have recently signed up a couple of advertiser programs for my case study. Although most of my applications are rejected; some decent sponsors still accepted me as their affiliate partner. Perhaps it is because of my current location. Some of the advertisers only accept affiliate partners from certain specific locations. I'm very certain that more sponsors will start pouring in after my blog hit 50 unique posts.

Here's a quick update on the real life case study that I'm currently doing. My aim is to create a blog from scratch to make money online; applying what I have learned during the past one year.

According to the report based on the most popular and expensive keywords from the excel file I obtained from Article Underground, I have decided to go for the "Insurance niche". Of course there are many more expensive keywords in the list that I did not sort out.




I'm not really sure on what web template to use so I've used back the same template from DannyTechy. Of course I removed most of the non-related advertisements. Google ads are removed as well because I need more pages and contents. Reason being that Google will determine the quality of my site and the quality of the ads (high CPC) that the site will be getting the first time the ads are implemented. So if you start off your site with crappy contents, your site will be stuck with 3rd rate ads. Once Google made their decision, it's unlikely that they will change their mind down the road.

Later I tried to insert important keywords into the description as these are what people are searching for and advertisers are competing against each other heavily. The result would be something like this:

Alright! It is time for some real case studies. I will apply what I have learned so far and try to make money from a new blog. I won't use my current DannyTechy blog as a case study platform because it has been around for quite some time. I will start with a brand new blog registered with Google. This will only be a simple case study that I will be doing during my free time since I'm still stuck in a day job. I will be using all the readily available analyzing tools from Article Underground for this case study.

To create a money making blog from scratch and see whether it can really make enough money to cover one's daily expenses.

Let's face it, how easy do you think it is to make money from Adsense nowadays? With Google's ever changing policy and recent crack down on websites with duplicated contents; those who were able to make a living from adsense in the past are now struggling to even make 100 a month.

Do not simply trust anyone who's selling those quick-buck Adsense ready websites. Especially those content-ready article websites. They simply would not work as effectively as it used to be. Because they are selling the same articles (contents) over and over again. Websites with duplicated contents will score low for Google adsense. As a result, you gain less CPC from the adsense adverts. Sure they are easy to set up but don't expect any good results from them.

If you want to make money from Google, you will need to think like Google and play their game. Don't ever think of using short cuts. Black hat methods work only for a period of time before they are discovered and patched; just like how hackers exploit program bugs to their advantage. Instead of investing your money and time on something that will not last forever, why not try learning it the right way (White hat way)? You will be rewarded handsomely if you please Google.

There are a couple of important things that you need to know about Google if you want to make more money with Adsense. I will not go in detail all of them but the one thing that matters most is unique keyword targeted contents. Nothing pleases Google more than this. However, do not take my words for granted as I also learned this from experience.

If you want to make a website to monetize from Google Adsense, you need unique contents. I mean loads and loads of pages with unique keyword targeted contents; contents that are not copied from anywhere. But how are you going to find time to write unique content pages after pages? One way around this is to outsource your content writing to ghost writers. But that poses another problem; their services are expensive and hard to come by. The next alternative? Find someone who employs these ghost writers and sell you their work!

Now everybody agrees that content is KING. However this is only half true. UNIQUE content is KING. If you need unique contents for your website. Whether it is an article website or an affiliate website, look no further. Article Underground could be your solution. These are some of my recommended programs that I joined in the past to make money online. Some of them are not performing so well, however a little extra help is never a bad thing. My advise for beginners is to try as many programs as possible to learn from the experience. Don't ever cherry pick programs because you won't be able to learn anything. ★Google Adsense:
Adsense is a great way to monetize your site. You just need to sign up for Adsense and implement the code in your html and it will automatically crawl the content of your pages and delivers ads (you can choose both text or image ads) that are relevant to your audience and your site content — ads so well-matched, in fact, that your readers will actually find them useful. Google Adsense matches advertisements to your site's content, and you earn money whenever your visitors click on them. One drawback of Google Adsense is its high payout threshold. You will need to hit the $100 mark before Google pays you.


★Bidvertiser:
Bidvertiser, a similar ads network that competes with Google Adsense. Its main advantage over Adsense is its low $10 payout. You only need to make $10 in order to be paid. Bidvertiser works similarly with Adsense, just sign up and implement the codes in your website. However, Bidvertiser offers two types of programs; one for publishers and another one for advertisers.


★WidgetBucks:
WidgetBucks is an advertising network that features a widget that displays shopping ads. When a reader clicks on the widget and visits the advertiser, you make money (works the same way as Adsense and Bidvertiser).

WidgetBucks integrates with Blogger, TypePad, WordPress, Movable Type, and other large blogging platforms to make it extremely easy to install. The ads can be pulled with a MerchSense crawl of your page to finds relevant products to include in the widget. Alternatively, you can choose the categories and products yourself.


★Kontera ContentLink:
Kontera ContentLink allows you to make money from advertising without giving up any current advertising spots. Their technology reads your post and turns certain words into an ad. The highlighted words are double underline and an ad pops up when you hover over it.


★TTZ Media Network:
TTZ Media provides product based ads that are trigger by keywords. The ads show products that are based on the keywords entered and a list of online stores where the products can be purchased. A reader clicking on the product will be taken to the store offering the product for sale. Money is generated with a CPC model. A reader need only click on the banner and visit the advertiser in order for the site to make money. The reader does not have to purchase the product from the advertiser. CPC rates are based on product categories and number of clicks the affiliate can generate.


★ShoppingAds:
What ShoppingAds does is put all their publishers into one big “collective” to go after the higher revenue share. Publishers can leverage ShoppingAds’ creative delivery of eBay’s auctions and ShoppingAds’ ability to achieve the higher performance incentive tiers with the aggregate volume of traffic to make more money than they could with their own eBay affiliate relationship. Right now, affiliates will get 100% of any money they make from the system. As the collective moves up the eBay revenue share tiers, ShoppingAds will start to take a cut of revenues. The goal is for you to make more with ShoppingAds than directly with eBay’s affiliate program, which will be the case as the network increases its volume.


★DealDotCom:
DealDotCom offers a two-tier affiliate program. When you refer others to DealDotCom and they get a free account, they are marked in the system as having been referred by you. Anything that they buy will nets you a 35% commission. People are just creative enough to re-phrase the words so that it sounds different. By saying that, it does not mean that ALL the authors out there are plagiarizing old work. There are some genuine ideas on how to make money online out there. However you will need to be smart enough to tell the difference between genuine methods and re-published methods.

In my 1 year attempt at making money online, I have made close to 200 USD only. For some, it may seem to be a laughing figure.
